# Need to edit IGES imported files

I have imported an IGES file for extruded aluminum. I can reposition item as needed but need to extend the length. How do I edit the length?

Hi, if it is a regular IGES file - I mean not directly converted from STL/OBJ, you should just grab the face of the profile and move it to meet the required length:
