# Need to rotate sketch to export as DXF...won't rotate

Then yes, I have done those steps many times in the last 3 days. No effect

Send me just the sketch by message !  
but you already have the solution… read the doc, practice the tutorials, etc…

If you had read my earlier messages, you would know that I can’t seem to export just the sketch, whenever I try, I get the entire file Bodies, sketches, and all.

And as I say, I cannot share the entire file. I don’t have permission.

And I could do without the read the docs, etc part. You have no idea what I have done or how long I have used the app. I just have a very unusual problem I have never seen before.

After selecting, have you tried to **Copy-Move** the sketch, then rotate the copy?
