After a couple failed offerings from Amazon, my gal pal wanted me to make her a needle chopper. An empty “Ollie” chewable gummy vitamin bottle twists on from below to catch the needles. Most choppers cut in the wrong place so that the blade hits the hardened needle. They don’t last long that way.

My springs might not have enough travel. Before I complete the base I need to test the travel. It seems to be 20mm. The top plunger printed beautifully on my X2D, the blade fit perfectly snug. The springs press fit nicely without excessive force, no tolerance needed.

Material is Bambu PLA Tough. My overhangs were a bit too aggressive so the plunger looks a bit wonky but it will be fine as this is a one off.
