# New iPad Air M3's

Hi I’m new here.

I’m looking to get one of the new iPad Air’s. 11, or 13".

Specs:

iPad Air 11” or 13”  
Apple M3 chip  
8-core CPU with 4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores  
9-core GPU  
Hardware-accelerated ray tracing  
16-core Neural Engine  
8GB RAM

Has anyone experienced Shapr3D on one of these new devices?  
If so, does it perform well? I’m on a budget and would get a Pro unit if I could.

I’m sure it will be fine as long as you don’t bog it down with projects having thousands of components. My previous iPad Pro was 5th Generation with an M1 chip, 8GB Ram, 256GB storage, 8-core, etc, and it worked fine for all my projects. Make sure to add the Apple Pencil for use with Shapr3D.  
I realize that budgets can be tight but if I were you I’d stretch the $$ and opt for the 13" tablet. You’ll be glad you did. I think one difference in performance might be with the display refresh rate comparing the Air at 60Hz and the iPad Pro at 120Hz. I believe there are users here that have an iPad Air and can voice their opinion.

I also might be able to go Apple Refurbished now that I’m seriously itching for an iPad.
