# New to Shapr3D, how do I snap object to plane?

How do I snap an object to the work surface?

What you are asking does not translate in Shapr so much. Things are not done on coordinates in Shapr. You must keep track of the space. Move or translate tools.

Work surface is the sketch. Or plane.
