# No ability to add symbols in Text note within 2D Manufacturing Drawing

This feature will allow symbols to be added within text notes feature. Creating a more professional look, closer to international standard.

This feature will allow me to add descriptive notes using the correct symbols, instead of having to write long hand e. g. “DEGREES, DIAMETER” etc.

I can’t achieve a better professional look or draw to international standards.

It is a work flow blocker because it’s slow.

You can add these symbols with keyboard

⌀ Diameter

- iOS: Hold down “O” and choose from list above
- macOS: Option + Shift + “O”
- windows: Alt + 0216

° Degree

- iOS: Hold down “0” and choose from list above
- macOS: Option + Shift + “8”
- windows: Alt + 0176
