# notes in drawings

Please follow the format below for requesting a feature.

Allowing notes to be added to the model itself explaining when and where/why a dimension was chosen so others can take over editing the same file and understand why certain things were chosen.

Basically helps people like me with worse memory and allows me to work on the same drawing as others seamlessly be it in a class giving feedback on models to students or working in a big team on a new invention.

should be able to add notes on any chosen dimension and they should appear when the dimension box is active for a constraint.

To the dimensions, I created a „prefix“, but there may be other options to this.

When you say drawings GroMark is the solution.

Or in the 3d Viewport like my request?

Open it and create handwriting notes or others signs  
Save it
