# Open sketch, not posible to extrude

Hi, i have create a drawing with many corners, holes, ect, I need to extrude this but the sketch become not blue , which mean my sketch is not closed? Get some open corners I think. Is There a tool to show open ends?

Hi,

There is no tool for that, best way is to start cutting the drawing with straight lines, where a portion doesn’t get a filling, investigate deeper.

Trick1: to approximate location of open loop.  
Draw rectangle over part of the drawing and try to extrude only what’s inside, if it works try another section area.

Hi Laci,

Indeed, i have done this procedure last night and found the issue… But I remember with solid works a tool to show open ends. Thanks for your advice anyway!
