# "Painted Wood" Improvements Please

I’m so glad that we have such a variety of wood textures now! I do have an issue with Painted Wood.

To us, painted wood is just a solid paint, wood texture is not seen (we manufacture chairs).

What would be better is _stained_ wood, which is what you’re calling Painted Wood right now.

The problem is, it looks unsanded. And I don’t know what wood grain it is, but it looks like fake wood.

Stained wood reveals wood grain, and appears “wet”. We typically use oak and beechwood.

It is so close!
