Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to attain a top down PERSPECTIVE (not flat orthographic) view in Shapr3D?

I need a top down view of a city, but I need the camera perfectly aligned, pointing downwards. I don’t want the flat look of the orthographic however.

Thanks.

Hello,
You can adjust the field of view in the appearance menu:

However, if you set the view to the Top on the orientation cube in the upper right corner, the appearance settings will not affect the result 😕

Hi Peter,

Yeah unfortunately, my architectural project requires me to have a top down view of buildings (with perspective turned on). It’s a pity this isn’t possible to do in Shapr3D - as going to “Top” view and then adjusting the perspective doesn’t do anything.
