I’m trying to create pinball ramps like the one below with shapr but really struggling. If someone could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.

Here’s a tutorial for OnShape but I don’t use that program: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfOX2oi0eXY](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfOX2oi0eXY)

Which part are you having difficulties with?

I’m watching the video and have to say that in Shapr3D you need to do almost the same, except you use thin bodies instead of sheets.

To produce this kind of shape, use the same two sketches as in the video, but add thickness in the profile sketch and extrude it. After that, you can use an intersection to create the same shape as in the screenshot.

Very cool, thank you! I would have never been able to figure that out.

It continuously amazing me how simple it looks when someone shows you, but I never would have thought of doing something that way.

You need to learn a set of standard approaches (there aren’t that many) and use them. It’s not rocket science.

Im not sure is this standard approach or the approach because of missing features?

Or called a Workaround?

Shapr “3d” program but can’t sketch in 3d, make this basic sketching possible!

 ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex002/uploads/shapr3d/original/3X/b/0/b03817417754230416c2c5f2592c3359263c9336.jpeg)

So much fun can be had if we can just do it! (above not possible in S3D unless u wana combine few 2d sketches)

Oh wait this is the simple sketch u would need.

Quite standard. Even in Fusion 360, where we have 3D sketches and surface modeling, this kind of task is usually done in exactly this way.

Nevertheless, using intersections is a very standard approach. That’s what I was talking about — you just need to learn standard approaches to complete almost any task.

Only if u wana complete basic tasks.

Ok can shapr3d move beyond the basics? Made me say it!

Also I would like to see how its really done in Fusion!

Exactly the same:

But of course you can make something like this easily:
