# Preference Settings for Drawings (templates)

**The problem that this feature will solve:**

Every time I start a new Drawing, my first step is to adjust the title block. It would be much faster and less error-prone if i can save a template beforehand.

**Brief description of the outcomes that you expect from this feature:**

eg. Company name and information, comments, prefered date-format, Name of reviewer etc. which are the same on every drawing I edit.

Bonus: sharing the template would be great (eg. with collegues)

Extra Bonus: possibility to save several templates given the occasion.

**What can’t you achieve without this feature?**

It’s simply blocking the workflow. Shaprs advantage is its simplicity and speed. I would like to feel this with 2D drawings as well.

I definitely agree with this. There’s like 3 or changes I have to make to every drawing each time I create a new one. The comma to a decimal point is the most irritating as sometimes I miss it.
