Pricing is harmful to non-commercial

The current pricing model is useless to any non-commercial user. I love Shapr; picking up an iPad and designing something was beautiful. At first, I got behind, paying 99 / year for the right to use this software. A year later, when the price was hiked to 199, I grinned and took it. Then, a year later, the price hiked another 100 dollars to 299, which is more expensive than Netflix. This is an excellent product, but this could be better. I only need to design something to 3d print around the house maybe 4-5 times a year. This cost is not worth it. The basic free plan is a joke; exporting to low-resolution models is useless. I have an account with probably 15 or 20 projects, but I can only view 2. I can’t even deactivate them to view the other models. If I want to sketch something up now, I must delete a project’s content to do anything. Hell, even a multi-billion dollar company like Autodesk has a free, non-commercial option, and you guys can’t even offer that; get off your high horse.

Autodesk’s user base is probably 1000 times larger than Shapr’s, which makes offering a free limited-feature license more fiscally practical.
