# Print a soild object

i am new to 3D drawing and printing.
I had draw a 4mm rod 15cm long and would like to print it in solid metal instead of just a wall hollow structure.
do i need to make it fully solid in the drawing or just do some setting in the existing drawing nor in exporting setting in the file? the factory request STEP file.

Just draw a 4mm circle and extrude it 15cm. It will be solid.

yes i did that, but when send to printing factory they say it is not filled it only will print the outside wall (like skin with reinforce structure inside) , inside still hollow, but i want to fill up inside to solid, then they say i need to make some change on my file…
