# Problem with extruding (total noob at work)

Im completely new to shapr3d and im starting to learn it by myself. (With some youtube tutorials and stuff). I started with modeling some small things, and then set my goal to do some Pokeballs. This project im doing right there is a Master ball. But when i did the bumps on top of the upper half, i tried using the projection tool to get a circle onto the top, and then i wanted to extrude it to round it up a bit to get those bumps. But as you can see in the video, it wont do that. Is there anything im missing here?

Revolve what you want to cut out.

Intersect the cylinder and hollow ball.

Revolve the solid ball.

You will be able to pull and push to get the desired depth.
