# Projection even Silhouette function?

Hi guys!

I constantly works with some other suppliers and modelers. Sometimes I need to insert their module into my design. However, when I was trying to project a solid part to a plane, sometimes those rounded edge cannot be projected properly.

In these two screenshots, I was trying to find the correct edge and shape of this part and project it to a XY plane and then create a hole on a body. However, in the projected sketch, there is a gap between two line. I can’t even use trim to remove extra lines.

I tried to project the whole object, but it is the same. Many small rounded edge surface cannot be projected properly. This object is from my suppliers which I must follow their size.

I can create a proper shape from Rhino3D by silhouette function and it’s like super clean already. So, is there any way I can do this on Shapr3D? Any work around?
