Hello, I have been watching several videos on how to design in shapr3d But I can’t find a way to design, for example, a door spring that prevents the door from hitting the wall The thing is that this spring is shaped like a funnel and I only see the possibility of making a straight one. Any ideas ??

> Recently I was struggling on a design where I needed a shape like a “Spherical Spring”. Failed many times so I took to YouTube to find the answer. After watching a video for SolidWorks on “[Spring Ball](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWHfoZomsCw&ab_channel=CADCAMTUTORIAL)” something clicked and now I feel like I can make a spring in nearly any shape I need. You might say I caught Spring Fever (I am not above bad dad jokes). I made this 7-minute video for others who may have similar needs: [[Spring Fever with Shapr3D] ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaD_F27fIxE)

Always start your questions with a forum search. So many wonderful contributors here and lots of great questions already asked. “spring” netted me that video in search.

That just led to a rabbit hole to this video 👇 Good thing I just retired, now I can play with Shapr3d MORE!
