# Revolve around non-straight object

Hi!

I’m trying to use revolve around a curved object, but perhaps the tool is not designed for that. How can I wrap this ‘spring’ around this type of object so it’s touching it? Here’s an visual to help - as the cylinder get thinner, the spring should also, but it’s just straight. Hope I’m clear what I want to achieve. Any help appreciated!
