# Revolve issue please help

No matter what I do I can not revolve

Split the Circle in half and then only revolve one half, then it should work. Revolving a full circle would create some really strange double-sphere geometry and Shapr3d doesnt like that.

Actually you can easily revolve full circle. I think problem in the revolving axis, perhaps it is not centered correctly.

But I agree that revolving half circle is more logical 🙂

I also encountered the problem you described but once in awhile doing full circle. So half circle is the solution. Never thought why it does that since this is possible.

(update)  
While moving center line after revolve it keeps the form, if you move the center line and revolve you get the error.

This example I’m off by .0001mm and can’t revolve then updated to 50mm it revolves.
