It’s time for challenge 2 🏁

**What you’re building**

A parametric model of a lemniscate. It’s a figure-eight curve whose shape is controlled by three independent driving parameters. The real test isn’t just modeling the shape. It’s making sure your model transitions cleanly from State A to State B by changing only those three parameters, without breaking constraints, inverting, or deforming uncontrollably.

If your model holds together through both states, you’ve done it right.

**The rules**

Fixed dimensions: A Driving parameters: B, C, and D Driven dimensions: any construction lines, points, or dependent curves needed to keep the shape stable

⚠ Important: your design history tree must contain only Sketches and Extrusions. Any other feature type results in an automatic fail.

Submit your CAD file through this [link](https://forms.gle/T9cvrqh7J7wBqRy99) **by the end of the week on Sunday, July 12.**

Your results are going to be shown [on the leaderboard](https://discourse.shapr3d.com/t/leaderboard-parametric-sketching/41184/3) after the submissions are evaluated.

**Scoring reminder**

- Complete the challenge → earn 10 completion point

- Complete the challenge successfully → earn 6 success points

- First 5 people to submit gets → 5-4-3-2-1 points

- Stay consistent across the challenge → after 3 participations you get 3 extra points, after all 5 participations you get additional 10 points

As usual, questions are welcome here. Good luck!

Is there any chance you guys could share more information about what angle D actually is?

Hi joni,
angle D is the angle of the arc annotated in the picture. I hope that helps a little.
