# Section View (Blue Lines)

Hi Shapr3D Team,
I have the following result when trying to make a section view. Do I have to many parts in the assembly, or is this some type of bug?
The blue lines go out horizontally a great distance in both directions.

Hey @Cjacob,
Sorry for the inconvenience. This is a bug that we’re aware of and working on.
It usually happens if the section line is in a very slight angle compared to the symmetry axis of the part. In your case please make sure that your section line horizontal.
