# Section view should enable real-time positioning of the section cut

Moving the plane associated with a section-view should change the section along with it.

I would really, AGAIN, love it if I could pick a view, enable section view AND drag Section View with a Move/Rotate command.  
It would be so helpful to in a simple way like that sort out pros and cons with placements etcetera, I have no idea why this was not implemented long time ago.  
Reason why?

I agree there needs to be some sort of way of dragging the section cut so you can visualize weather the design is going to have interferences or even to show it the design will work correctly. Much needed command

It is hoped that different parts of the mosaic can be distinguished by different colors. It is too difficult to distinguish different models in the current profile, and the color distinction has been put forward for many times.

Is there any update to be expected? The drawing making is really, really limited due to this not availability of moving sections independently. If I could move the section indecently my drawing would be much more useful … Hope it is coming soon !!!

I agree there needs to be some sort of way of dragging the section cut so you can visualize weather the design is going to have interferences or even to show it the design will work correctly. Much needed command and also being able to modify the crosshatching color and type and size would make the drawing look so much better.

This has been asked for so many times as well as adding some lines to delineate the different objects in a section view, but Shapr3D is clearly not listening. The following image is basically unusable because of the lack of delineation between objects.

They’ll listen when their corporate clients request it. There’s a tier for them, can’t remember the name. I firmly believe that’s why HBPM came into play. This seems like a smaller adjustment than a complete re-work.

Hello, I am also looking forward for this feature. I saw this solution in Onshape and I think that is really good.

I would also love, if each object got different hatching pattern and it keeps its material color in cut, to be more distinguish .

I agree and have suggested the same thing in 2022 this would be a great presentation tool also and even to distinguish part interferences.
