# Selecting geometry from the sidebar mid-operation

Can we get the ability to select a geometry from the sidebar while in the middle of an operation? It’s often much quicker to find and select the right geometry from the sidebar than in the work area. This is especially true of operations involving construction objects and sketch planes.

Yes, this is among the UI improvements that we plan to ship with the next iterations of the new UI.
