Hello, I have not played with Shapr3D in a while but I am on a road trip and have some free time. This could be a dumb question and I may have just forgot the answer. I want to know if after drawing a sketch on another surface and then extruding it; Is their any easy or at least effective way of separating the new extrusion from the parent object? Or is their a way to draw on a surface and extrude it without it ever being a part of the first object? I know this was not available in the past but I don’t know if there has been a change or any good work arounds? BTW I did try to draw in a separate layer and thought that was supposed to change things but they are still stuck together.

Currently there isn’t, but very soon the whole sketching concept will change a lot, and then you will be able to do that.
