# Shapr format export

When we export to a SHAPR format, does it only capture what is visible or everything of the current workspace including those that are not visible? Does it capture sketches as well or only shapes?
I have a lot of shapes in my current workspace that I managed through groups. I have made some groups not visible until I need them again. Several crashes mid project caused me to lose the sketches and shapes that I were working on thus I would like to backup the project periodically. So ultimately, is there a way for me to backup the whole workspace, regardless of visible or not visible shapes and include all the sketches?

Hi - yes, everything (groups, hidden groups/sketches) is stored in the .shapr format, so it’s ideal for creating backup copies
