# Shapr Fun Interactions

May get pelters here for using the AI and don’t get me wrong I am absolutely no fan of AI generated models infesting the internet (and my YouTube Ads).

Was on holiday with my nephew and he showed an interest whilst i was doodling along in Shapr (in the shade).

‘Can I have a go uncle Lee….’

(The dread as I look down at my new IPad M5 and the prestige white Magic Keyboard) 😱

Long story short - we decided to do a robot.

He drew this on the standard iPad paint tool.

We imported into Shapr and extruded some simple elements:

He then give the generative AI some prompts and ended up with this.

He was happy and the iPad and keyboard unscarred :).

Say what you want about AI output, but I think the next 2 generations are going to push it along in terms of use and development. That is perhaps until AI pushes back………..

I’m leveraging AI only for code writing where my skills are weak and it is blazingly fast. I also had AI break down material property analysis specs of aluminum for me. I knew my part design was overkill, however in choosing the type of aluminum to use I needed help with. I learned some stuff. But I highly recommend verifying most all of what it spits out.

AI isn’t perfect. But I can feel the tension some humans are having because AI may very well replace many in technical fields. I think that is highly likely. Especially coders. And they are lashing out in forums.
