# Shapr3D 2.0 is here, and it is awesome

Hey guys,

Today is a big day in the life of Shapr3D (shaper three dee, in case if you were wondering 🙂), because today, we have launched the first major update of the app since the original 1.0 launch in March.

This release is a huge leap forward for every shaper, as we added a very important new features (CONSTRAINTS!), launched our educational program (Shapr is now free for students, and teachers!), and redesigned many many things under the hood to be able to ship regular updates to you, with more exciting features.

I hope you will enjoy this new release, and let us know how you like it.

If you guys could help us upvoting the app on [Producthunt](http://producthunt.com) that would be much appreciated.

Upgraded to 2.0.

Try this. Extrude a circle and then draw a line on the extruded end.

Extrude part of the end, then try and made a fillet in the corner:

It’s from the link in the email about the 2.0 upgrade. I’ll double check when I’m home to make sure it is that version.
