# Shapr3D really needs some sort of revision system

I am using a Mac.

I think in the short term I will have to develop a habit of exporting my design to a Shapr3D export backup each time I open it (which leads back to my automation topic: [Export Workflows - #2 by peter\_gyongyosi](https://discourse.shapr3d.com/t/export-workflows/20158/2)).

I’ll have to ponder whether I can backup and restore the Application Support/Shapr3D folder for an emergency backup.
