# Share\>Export as file doesn't work in newest version

When i hit share, the “share this project” window opens. I hit export as file, the “export” window opens, i select the file type, hit export, but instead of the file explorer opening, the “export” window closes and nothing else happens.
I restarted the pc, tried multiple file types, projects and objects.
**Just noticed while writing:** Using “file”\>“export to” does work.

Same for me.
Win Platform, App version: 5.841.8708.0 #c81f7c9d
Today I noticed that doing export does nothing.
Share → New dialog version → Export (as a file)… button → select a file format (e.g. .STEP or .STL but it does not work for all format) → big blue Export button
The dialog is closed, no file selection appears, and nothing happens.
This appens to ALL the objects of ALL the existing projects.
Please fix ASAP !!!

Sorry, i can’t reproduce the issue.
I’ve tried your file and Export is OK on my Mac Studio, OS Sequoia 15.4.1

Exporting via the Share button doesn’t work but going to **File \> Export To…** works to export properly (explorer opens and you can save as before).
