# Sheet Body Cannot be Selected?

This lego body shows up as an imported mesh body stl. If I try to subtract from it the error “sheet body cannot be selected” comes up.  
If I try to project to it the message “mesh body cannot be selected” comes up.  
Is there any work around for this?

I found a solution. Made a small modification in my slicer then exported the body as an stl. Imported that body into shapr3d and was able to do the subtraction.

I experienced the same problem last night. Fortunately, the STL I converted was simple, so I just recreated it based on measurements of it.

What app did you use to do the conversion from mesh to solid body? I used FreeCAD.

I used BambuStudio slicer and made a small modification to the model so it changed the body. Then exported it as another stl file for Shapr3d.
