# Shell part problems

have an issue where both halves of my part shell independently but fails to shell after I union the 2 halves

Hi @opendoorslowly

Can you do the shells of the two bodies and then union them together? You may have to adjust which faces you shell, or remove a face before union. Or even remove a “wall” after union…

There are usually many ways to get the same result.
