how can i create this simple body? I tried to extrude the circle once. now i want to extrude the top surface again and then scale it. however, the cylinder is simply raised and there is no cutting line between the first and second extrude.

I’d recommend drawing a half cross section sketch of what you want, then revolve it around the center axis.

many thanks for your response. I simply created two bodies and then brought them together with the union funcion. seems to work, thought there might be a more elegant solution 😆

Revolve would be the more elegant approach 🙂

I have found the perfect function that does exactly what I was looking for. the **small cube symbol** opens the function where i can select **NEW BODY**. 👌
