# Simple way to make part Transparent

Is there any other way to make a part transparent other then picking the material “Simple Transparent Material” it seems that this should be a very easy way to change a part to transparent without changing the material.

I don‘t know of any way… you see, for example ABS can‘t be transparent… I think. So you have to pick a transparent material, like glass or polypropylene.

Some times i use Select Through (menu Edit)
