# Sketch a line at specific angle?

Don’t know if I’m missing something, but I simply want to draw a line at a specific angle and not sure if this is an easy thing I’m missing or I have to draw a circle first or?

Here’s a pic, I’ve drawn a line there just to show what I want to do, but I need to make sure that line is at exactly 45 degrees

Okay so I was overthinking this. I was assuming there’d be a way of displaying the angle you were drawing a line at in comparison to the edge you were drawing off, but doesn’t seem like that is possible (although would be extremely handy)

Instead I just made a line at 90 degrees then rotated it with move tool, and then moved it into place

BOB! Wow, haha, I knew you’d sort me out. This was the sort of solution I was looking for. I knew I’d done it before a year or two ago, I just couldn’t remember what I did! Now just to make sure adjusting the angle doesn’t deform the entire model
