# Sketches on different planes

Sketching and then offsetting edges. There are times that when I stop sketching, that when drawing new lines, they won’t connect to the previous line. The old line has faded and the new line is dark. It seems like the two lines are on slightly different planes.

First I always select a part of the sketch where I want to connect with what I draw later.  
Because every new sketch is on new constructionplan, if I left the old one ( as you wrote)

I didnt have this problem previously untill after this last update. If i have the view to “top” I think it should all be on the same plane, the one that is the very bottom of the build. If i select something to connect, it wont connect to one of the other lines that are grayed out.

As I remember that, it came with parametric
