I don’t know if this is secretly a feature or something but, whenever I import a file from SolidWorks, Shapr3D flips the axis. I can see that Shapr3D uses the same origin, but where SolidWorks Y axis is pointing “up”, Shapr3D has their Z axis point up. Having to flip every model I import is starting to become a bit of a bother. I’m importing roughly 30 models a week and since it’s all basically the same procedure, I’m trying to reduce the amount of repetitive actions I have to do, to make my workflow faster and easier.

Is there a way to change this?

Solidworks by default is Y-UP, Shapr is Z-UP. When you make a new file you get Y or Z option but Y is selected by default.

Unfortunately if you are receiving Y-UP files you need to flip it.
