Hi all I’m having issues with split body.

1. Create a 50mm circle on X,Y plane
2. Extrude to +200mm in Z
3. Create construction pane on X,Y and make it 50 X 50
4. Move the construction plane up 100mm and tilt it to 45 degrees. Down in X- and up in X+
5. Use split body with the construction plane as the knife
6. All looks good and now I have 2 bodies one below and one above the construction plane.
7. Select the bottom body and using the move tool, move it along the X axis. Move X + and it gets taller X- and it gets shorter.
I have tried this with construction planes and also with a padded rectangle using Boolean subtract both have the same result.
I just want two bodies that I can move around without the geometry changing.
I’m sure I’m doing something wrong.

I am on an iPad Pro and on the free version of sketcher.
(I am trying to learn for free before I subscribe)

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

You should merge your history, if you don‘t need it, that should solve the issue.

You could be also only selecting the face instead the whole body. Whole body selection will highlight the whole model, its done by double clicking.
