I’m experiencing a serious issue with my Shapr3D-to-Nomad Sculpt workflow following recent software updates, and I’m wondering whether anyone else has encountered this.

I use Shapr3D for precision jewelry modeling. Unfortunately, Shapr3D does not always reliably or predictably fuse intersecting geometries into a single printable mesh, which is necessary for successful slicing and 3D printing. As a result, I routinely export my models to Nomad Sculpt for voxel remeshing.

Recently, even extremely simple models exported from Shapr3D have begun causing Nomad Sculpt to crash consistently at approximately **43.33% during remeshing**.

The only workaround I’ve found is reducing the voxel remeshing resolution below 500, which results in an unacceptable loss of detail for jewelry manufacturing.

What’s particularly interesting is that **older Shapr3D exports continue to remesh normally** , suggesting that something may have changed in the export process. However, I’m also aware of recent Nomad Sculpt stability issues, so I can’t rule out a problem on that end.

This has effectively brought my jewelry production workflow to a halt.

Has anyone experienced similar problems with recent Shapr3D exports or Nomad Sculpt updates? I’d especially appreciate hearing from anyone who has identified the cause or found a solution that preserves model detail.

Thanks in advance for any insight!
