I can’t import a .stp file into a new design.
This is what I do:

1. I create a new (empty) design
2. I select “… → import”
3. I select any of the files I would like to import (that I created via the website “[Convert STL to STP online for free](https://3d-convert.com/en/convert/stl-to-stp.html)”

Shap3r loads the file and shows
“processing…” then
“processing source file…” then
“transfering to parasolid…”

and that’s it. It doesn’t proceed further.

I have ~ 3MB files and I run Shap3r in Windows 10 on an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X with 16GB of RAM and a NVIDIA 2060.
While displaying “transfering to parasolid…”, Shap3r seems to use 0% of my CPU time, 5.3MB of RAM, 0% disk usage and 0% GPU usage.
