# System “Memory” Requiremnts

Hi… I’m day’s away from purchasing my new iPad (the only REAL legitimate reason I am buying one is because of Shapr3D). I know that it has to be the iPad Pro… and I’ve researched articles, the website, and forums without finding the answer.

Is there a minimum recommendation/requirement for memory for this software?

Well, it depends on your needs. Do you plan to load huge assemblies from SolidWorks? Go with the bigger one. Are you planning to do some quick sketches with a few bodies only? The smaller should do the job.

Personally I would go with the bigger one 🙂

Thank you for your prompt response… more research revealed thay I should wait out until a new iPad comes to market. What is the timeline for the new software in relation to a new iPad model release?
