# Text on the cylinder without distortion

Hello! The problem is that I can’t add text to the cylinder without distorting the outermost letters. To understand, look at the letters “D” on the model. I solved this problem by creating small rectangular planes around the cylinder, then adding text to these rectangles. As a result of these actions, letters are added perpendicular to the plane of the cylinder without distortion. Is there any more correct and easier way to add text to the cylinder. Thank you all in advance for your help 🙂

Thanks for the answer, I use the same method as in the video. But this method is difficult and time-consuming, I thought that there were better ways to apply text to the cylinder

It has been requested multiple times. I don’t even know if it’s on their roadmap.
