# Text union issues

Hi, I’m relativity new to Shaper 3D but loving it. However I’ve seen people with this issue of text for some reason or other won’t union. I’m using iPad Pro and the part is for a test stamp and most of the text union ok, but some letters won’t. All the same hight and same level. I’m lost on this and can’t find the answer anywhere else

Make a test with one of the "S"s on a separate block and see if it will union. Same with the “T” to rule out it’s not some problem with those letters in particular. Make sure the extruded letter are actually touching/ embedded in the surface you want to union to.

I know this issue, i don’t know the correct way. But sometimes help to extrude letters bit longer to intersect with the object you want to union.
