I have a question in regard to lofting and the methodology of shapr3d, I come from a background of many different 3d packages over the years and I’m assessing shapr.

I’m looking at ways to create a curved fillet using a lofting network of shapes and guides. I want a large curve at the bottom of the curve and a smaller one at the top (like a non-uniform fillet along a curve).

As the top curve is smaller it means that the top point of one guide curve needs to move in the Z from it’s plane and snap to a point on one of the shapes. Is this even possible in shapr or am i missing something?

I’ve played with sweep but that only allows one shape to be used.

Any advice would be appreciated.

You can model the third guideline.

But just easier to sweep and scale one of the end.

You can add 3 point construction plane and draw third guide line.

Thanks for the pointers, 3 point plane did the trick.

Cheers much appreciated
