Thank you for the kind words!

The goal from start was to do \_everything\_ in S3D, to learn and eventually overcome some limitations. This holds true except the decal on the air filter and the number plate. Here Affinity kept me sane and Vector Q kept the old plates intact. Usually I work in a plethora of CAD, shifting environment as soon as there is a uphill or to where the strengths is to be found; Fusion, FormZ, FreeCAD, Plasticity, Strata Design, Blender, Onshape. All this, but S3D _is fastest and fun_! (Though not always the most precise.)

The measurement is by thousands of photo with reference, lasers (combined), caliper, yardstick, strings. Countless hours in a sometimes very oily and nice environment. I wanted to create a true miniature where any small error would not in the end add up exponential and give countless misfits.

It all started with a missing radio — no S3D (later I _did_ find an original.)

And then a water pump schematic and a missing antenna mount (later I also here _did_ find an original), all in S3D, so why not do the all of her?

> OT Copied from ‘Feature request’: My playroom is here, [http://Hudson41.com](http://Hudson41.com) Mockups, or real stuff, all from AM-radios to engine parts or tools. Previously it was FormZ, then a combo (extremely strong together, covering all aspects), but lately more and more solely Shapr. Love to casually stand in the (oily) shop holding my Mini and scramble down some thoughts/ideas to a 3D. Some interesting reproduction of antique (and impossible to find) external part to be CNC’ed and chromed is in the pipe. …

> I had the rare opportunity to take some photos (of this impossible to obtain) and from them created this replika. Complicated organic form imho. To many hours to get it right… but fun! 100% Shapr3D. Tried the chrome shell with both FDM 0,1mm (smoothed by IPA) and MSLA 4k 0,03-0,01mm. Used the MSLA and FDM for carbon fiber and rubber parts.

Started this Sisyphus work 2024 and I expected it to finish 2030, that still seem to be possible… The engine and et al is to be finalized, working my way inwards, with \_all\_ internal mech parts somewhat later.
