# Transferring work from ipad to laptop

Hi, Is there any way I can transfer my work from my iPad to my laptop? I had an issue with a big piece of work not opening on my iPad so I’m hoping I can open it on my laptop since I have a lot more space now but all the work from my iPad doesn’t open when I log into my account on my laptop

Export your file as Shapr3D format and save it someplace accessible to your laptop. Airdrop is probably the easiest, but any iCloud directory or even a USB drive or similar will work. Then just open/import the file on your laptop.
Shapr3D has promised automatic iCloud syncing in the future, but it is not here yet. Meanwhile, the above method is really not much trouble.
