# Translate Sketch Elements, doesn’t work after latest update with new Parametric Cards

Continuing the discussion from [About the Technical issues and bugs category](https://discourse.shapr3d.com/t/about-the-technical-issues-and-bugs-category/41077):

I have the previous Shapr3D version on my PC and in that, I can select sketch elements (which highlights them in orange) then get out of the sketch, and the elements are still highlighted in orange.

I can then select Translate, and complete the normal steps for the Translate operation. The sketched lines will translate as expected.

But on my iPad, I have the newest version of Shapr3D which includes the new parametric card feature. On the iPad version translate only works with bodies. It does not work with any sketch elements.

Obviously, this is a serious problem. So far, it hasn’t caused any critical issues for me, but it will, as soon as I need that feature. Because I can’t simply open a drawing in the old version, that was edited in the new version.
