# Use delete icon to delete folder from Item panel

Be able to delete folders in the Items panel the same was as bodies and sketches. This will create a more consistent UI. Currently if you want to delete only a folder, you need to hard press or swipe left to get the menu.

If you have a folder _and_ a body selected, the delete icon is available.

Suggest that a better UI would be to have the delete icon available if a just a folder is selected.

I think this behavior has improved. Can you add the ability to **delete empty folders** with the delete icon? In this context, “empty” is to mean empty of bodies, sketches, geometries and images. Nested folders (folders within folders) with no content would be considered empty.
