# User Defined Presets

**The way this feature would work:**

Simply create a new folder under the settings tab in the Shapr3d menu, just like „Keyboard Shortcuts“. There, one could define the presets of a lot of features. Here are a few that I came up with:

- Booleans: As described above
- Visualization background: Just setting the normal background for visualizations would be great
- Drawings: Line widths
- Extrude: Symmetric or not
- Whatever the community or the devs can come up with.

**Brief description of the outcomes that you expect from this feature:**

Speeding up my Workflow should be a lot easier, if I could define the way each feature works normally.

**What can’t you achieve without this feature?**

Really fast workflow is hard, since Booleans are a very basic feature which I use a lot, but they don’t happen to have presets, as other features like „Mirror“ or „Pattern“ do.

_Is this a workflow blocker for you? Is this why you can’t use Shapr3D for work? Is this slowing you down?_

It is slowing me down, but not a lot. Would still be great!
