Why can’t we directly select the X, Y, or Z axis as a reference for operations like rotate, revolve, mirror, adding reference planes, etc.?

I often find myself having to go back and add construction lines to sketches that coincide with the major axes before I can complete an operation.

Being able to directly select the X, Y, or Z axis would save time, streamline operations, and simplify sketches.

Thanks for your consideration!
