Hi!

Every modification of a 3D-object makes this object to disappear. It reappears after “enter/done”. If, for example, i click on an edge, the edge is highlighted, as before, but when i drag the arrow to create a fillet the object dissapear, and only the highlighted edge is visible. This problem occurs every time I start the modification of an object. Same thing with extrusion. But, it works correct in X-Ray-mode… This is verry anoying, and makes work verry challenging.

Hi @hans.wallenborg

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

This is a known rendering issue affecting the tool Preview for operations such as Offset Face, Scale, and Extrude on certain **Windows** devices equipped with GPUs based on the **Pascal architecture**.

Our Development team is actively working on a fix. In the meantime, as a temporary workaround, you can try switching Shapr3D to **DirectX 11** under:

**`Shapr3D Settings → Graphics → Backend → DirectX 11`**

We’ll follow up with affected users once the issue has been resolved.

Thank you for your patience.

Hi @hans.wallenborg

A quick update on this: we’ve identified the issue, and a fix is now on its way.

The update containing the fix is currently planned for early next week.

I will update this thread once the fix is publicly available.
